NEW YORK -- Gawker Media Inc. is urging subscribers to modify their passwords because hackers hit institute their artefact into the company's individual databases.
The consort said in a bill on its website Sun that the passwords were encrypted, but ultimate ones could be undefendable to attacks by hackers' computers.
Gawker runs a program of blogs on the media, profession and another issues.
The consort says it is ashamed by the breach. It says passwords should be denaturized on another sites where the aforementioned countersign was used.
Gawker's Gizmodo school journal gained honour in May when it posted pictures of an iPhone prototype. The sound was forfeited by an Apple Inc. organise in a Silicon Valley bar.
